Is temporary email safe?
Temporary email is safe for a narrow job: receiving one code without handing a site your personal address. It is not a private vault, and it is not an identity.

What it protects
Your real inbox stays off the mailing list. You do not create a password on WispInbox to get a free address. The mailbox exists to catch a confirmation link or OTP and then disappear.
WispInbox does not send mail. A receive-only inbox cannot be used to mail strangers from your temporary address.
What it does not protect
Anyone who knows the address can open the inbox until it expires. Do not use it for mail you would not want a stranger to read. Do not use it for banking, payroll, government IDs, school portals, or work accounts.
When the inbox is deleted, the code and the confirmation link are deleted with it. If the site later asks you to reset a password, that mail has nowhere to go.
A simple rule
If losing the address tomorrow would lock you out of something you care about, use a permanent inbox. If you only need to get past a form today, a temporary address is the right tool.
Questions
Can the site that emailed me read my other messages?
No. They can only send mail to the address you gave them. They cannot open your real inbox.
Is the temporary inbox private?
Treat it as readable by anyone who has the address until it expires. We do not ask for your real name, but the mailbox itself is not a secret once the address is shared.
How long is the mail stored?
A free inbox, and the messages in it, are deleted about 60 minutes after you leave.
