About WispInbox
WispInbox is a temporary email service for sign-ups, verification codes, and developer testing. It is receive-only: it does not send or relay mail.
What it does
Open the homepage to get a disposable address on the WispInbox domain. Paste it into a form, then watch the live inbox for confirmation links or OTP codes. A free mailbox is removed about 60 minutes after you leave.
Intended uses
- One-time website or app sign-ups where you do not want your personal inbox on a mailing list.
- Catching a verification code or confirmation link during a short session.
- QA and automation that needs a disposable inbox and an OTP wait API.
OTP API and extensions
Developers can create a mailbox over HTTP, then call GET /api/otp to wait until a new code arrives. Free use is limited; Pro removes that limit for kept addresses. The same API powers the VS Code and Cursor extension.

Important limits
- Receive-only. You cannot send mail from a WispInbox address.
- A custom name only changes the part before the
@sign. It does not bypass websites that block the domain after the@. - Do not use temporary email for banking, work, government IDs, or any account you must recover later.
- Treat a free inbox as readable by anyone who knows the address until it expires.
- Pro can keep an address on a signed-in account and turn ads off. It does not forward mail to Gmail and does not attach your own domain.
