# WispInbox

> WispInbox (https://wispinbox.com) is a free temporary email service, also called temp mail or disposable email. It creates an inbox for website sign-ups and OTP codes. No account is required. Messages appear live in the browser. A free inbox is deleted about 60 minutes after the visitor leaves. WispInbox is receive-only: it does not send or relay email.

## Facts

- Free temp mail does not require an account or a credit card.
- A free inbox expires about 60 minutes after the visitor leaves. Keep the tab open until the verification email arrives.
- WispInbox does not send email. It only receives mail.
- Do not use a temporary address for banking, work, government IDs, or any account that must be recovered later.
- Some websites block known disposable domains. A custom name does not bypass that check, because the list is the domain after the @ sign.
- The OTP API is `GET /api/otp`. Free use is limited to 3 calls per day. `after` filters by arrival time. Pair it with `markSeen` or a fresh mailbox when a site resends a code.
- Optional Pro removes ads and keeps addresses on a signed-in account.
- Interface languages: English, Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, Turkish, Vietnamese, Bengali, and Korean.
